Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

4 whole wheat burger buns

Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, or your favorite sauces

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Divide the chicken mixture into four equal portions and form them into burger patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

Once the skillet is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

Toast the whole wheat buns on the skillet for about 1 minute, cut side down, until lightly golden.

Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your desired toppings.

Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious White Cheddar & Spinach Chicken Burgers!
