1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage, casings removed

8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Cook Sausage: In a medium skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess grease.

      Mix Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended and creamy.

        Prepare Crescents: Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll the triangles on a clean surface.

          Fill Crescents: Place a generous tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wider end of each crescent triangle. Roll the triangle from the wider end to the point, encasing the filling, and place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

            Add Cheese (Optional): Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the crescents for an extra cheesy flavor if desired.
