Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni (or mini pepperoni)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate it into triangles as per the perforations.

Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well to combine the ingredients.

Assemble the Rolls: Place a generous amount of the filling at the wider end of each triangle of dough. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the point, forming a crescent shape. Be sure to tuck the ends slightly to prevent the filling from oozing out.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk the egg to make an egg wash. Brush the tops of the rolled croissants with the egg wash to ensure they bake to a golden brown.

Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of each croissant roll for added flavor and a nice crust.

Bake: Transfer the croissant rolls to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
