Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup crushed BBQ-flavored potato chips

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

1/4 cup BBQ sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch cubes) and place them in a large bowl.

      Make the Coating:

        - In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

          - In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.

            - In a third shallow dish, add the crushed BBQ-flavored potato chips.

              Coat the Chicken:

                - For each chicken piece, first coat it in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully covered.

                  - Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

                    - Finally, roll the chicken in the crushed BBQ chips until well-coated. Place it on the lined baking sheet.

Bake: Once all the chicken pieces are coated, bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the nuggets.

Serve: Remove the nugget tray from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
