Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter Chicken Balls:

1 lb ground chicken

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 large egg

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Balls:

    - In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, egg, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

      - Mix everything until well combined but do not overmix.

        - Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

          Cook the Chicken Balls:

            - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and half of the butter over medium heat.

              - Add the chicken balls to the skillet in batches, being careful not to overcrowd. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

                - Remove the chicken balls from the skillet and add the remaining butter. Allow it to melt, then return the chicken balls to the skillet and coat them in the garlic butter. Remove from heat and set aside.

                  Prepare the Pasta:

                    - Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

                      - In the same skillet used for the chicken balls, add 1 tbsp olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

                        - Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

                          Combine it All:

                            - Add the cooked pasta to the cream sauce and toss well to coat the pasta evenly.

                              - Gently fold in the garlic butter chicken balls, allowing them to warm through with the pasta.

                                Serve:

                                  - Plate the creamy Parmesan pasta with garlic butter chicken balls on top.

                                    - Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
