Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

1/2 cup honey

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

      - Season chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Let it sit while you prepare the breading station.

        Set Up Breading Station:

          - In a shallow bowl, place the flour.

            - In another bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt.

              - In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil for added flavor and crunch.

                Bread the Chicken:

                  - Dip each chicken breast first into the flour, shaking off any excess.

                    - Next, dip it into the egg, allowing any excess to drip off.

                      - Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down lightly to ensure an even coating.

                        Fry the Chicken:

                          - In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.

                            - Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

                              Prepare Hot Honey Feta Sauce:

                                - In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and red pepper flakes, stirring until warm. Add the crumbled feta cheese, mixing until it begins to soften but is not completely melted.

                                  Bake the Chicken:

                                    - Once chicken is golden and crispy, pour the honey feta mix evenly over the chicken in the skillet.

                                      - Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 75°C).

                                        Serve:

                                          - Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Drizzle any remaining hot honey over the top and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Enjoy your Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad!
