Ingredients
  

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and black pepper to taste

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps in getting a better sear.

      Season the Chicken:

        - In a small bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

          - Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.

            Marinate:

              - For best results, let the seasoned chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

                Sear the Chicken:

                  - Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering.

                    - Add the chicken breasts to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

                      - Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

                        Finishing Touches:

                          - Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet, and squeeze fresh lime juice over the top. Let it rest for 5 minutes.

                            Serve:

                              - Slice the chicken and serve it on a bed of rice or alongside roasted vegetables. Garnish with chopped parsley for an added pop of color and freshness.
