Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

½ cup pickles, sliced

½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup thousand island dressing

4 slices American cheese (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart using a spatula and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain the excess fat.

Season the Beef: Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center of the tortilla, spoon a generous amount of the seasoned beef followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese.

Add Dressing and Cheese: Drizzle some thousand island dressing over the ingredients and, if desired, place a slice of American cheese on top for extra creaminess.

Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom until fully enclosed. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.

Toast the Wraps (Optional): Place the wraps seam-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat to toast until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. This step helps to warm the wraps and adds a nice crunch.

Slice and Serve: Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately with extra thousand island dressing on the side for dipping.
