Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup milk

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1 large egg

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form the mixture into oval patties (about 1/2 inch thick).

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the hamburger patties on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side). They don’t need to be fully cooked through, just nicely browned.

In an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the frozen mixed vegetables evenly on the bottom.

Carefully place the browned hamburger patties on top of the vegetables.

Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the patties.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
